InVue is an interesting company with innovative solutions for retail security. One problem they solved was to allow consumers to test different lenses on DSLR cameras with the aid of a sales associate while still maintaining security – without obtrusive cables. The Hidden Lens Sensor they developed monitored contact between the lens and the camera body that if interuppeted by unauthorized removal of the lens, would sound an alarm.

With an inexpensive video camera, a couple of simple lights and the use of a showroom, some InVue employees, I made this video simulating the consumer experience with a minimal budget. This is a good example of how I created an effective product demonstration video with a very low cost.
